Where are you based and how far are you prepared to travel?
RFB are based in the North West of England, and use Preston as our main location. However we are happy to play anywhere in the country, (or the World if asked).
How much do you charge?
The price is dependant on date, location and the times the band will be required etc. Every event is different and we like to discuss requirements with our clients to provide a firm quote. If you can include as much information as possibe in your initial enquiry, this will help.
How long do you play for?
We normally play for a total of 1Ĺ hours. That is normally based on 2 x 45 minute sets, but we are flexible and will play to client's requirements.
Can you provide music while not performing?
RumbleFatBand offers, as standard, to play appropriate music before, between and after the bands main performance, making the music side of the event seamless. This is at no extra cost to the client. Our singer, Stevie, has been a DJ for a number of years and knows how to keep the party going when the band isnít playing.
Can you supply a DJ?
Certainly however as we already provide appropriate music throughout the evening, we can spare the extra expense of a DJ. If you do want one, however, we can organise one. There is an obvious advantage in not having to organise a seperate DJ as we cn provide the whole package for the evening.
Who chooses the play list?
As the majority of our work is private functions, our experience means we know generally what works and what doesn't. We will work with the client so that nothing left to chance, but ultimately, we feel it's best that you trust us to deliver.
Can we use the PA system for speeches?
Absolutely, the use of the band PA and a microphone for speeches etc. is common practice and we would be delighted to help.
What equipment do you require?
We have our own high quality PA system and Lighting System, which are all included in our initial quote. We would only need to hire extra equipment if we were playing an extremely large venue. This would be assessed prior to the function so that the client is aware of any further expense. The hire of any such equipment would be additional to the band's fee.
What time will you arrive?
As every event is unique, arrival/set-up times will be agreed with the client. It generally takes between 1 and 2 hours to set and sound check, depending on the amount of equipment being deployed and this time will be built into our schedule for the day.
What is the band's dress code?
On arrival and departure, the band will be dressed in casual clothing as we will be loading and unloading equipment. For performance, we normally wear formal attire.
How do I book RumbleFatBand for my function?
We will send you a booking confirmation form with all the necessary information on. A signed copy needs to be returned along with a payment of a non-refundable deposit as stated in the confirmation form. That secures the booking.
What happens in the event of cancellation?
Cancellation of this Contract shall be as follows;
a) More than 30 days from the performance date; loss of Deposit.
b) Between 22 - 30 days from the performance date; 25% of the full fee.
c) Between 15 - 21 days from the performance date; 50% of the full fee.
d) Between 8-14 days from the performance date; 75% of the full fee.
e) Between 1-7 days from the performance date; The full fee will be payable.
